Connemara Sea Tours
Connemara Sea Tours was appointed to construct a 22
metre catamaran ferry cabable of carrying 120 passengers. The vessel was to be used on Lake Connemara in Ireland to
provide seating areas with a bar, cafeteria and good viewing. The luxury vessel received extensive media coverage both
in Portland and Ireland.
Constructed of
profiled mild steel and powered by twin Scania engines, the vessel can reach a speed of 12 knots and a cruising speed of 10
knots.
The vessel has
an open upper deck and an enclosed lower deck fitted with high quality customised furniture.
A long, gradually
sloping bow ramp provides access to the vessel via the lower deck and is both child and wheelchair friendly.

Chichester Harbour Conservancy
Manor Marine successfully won the contract to built a steel multi-cat barge
to be used to patrol Chichester Harbour. The steel barge is 14 x 7 metres long. All work was carried out within
the agreed timescale.

7.7 Metre Workboat
The 7.7 metre aluminium workboat has been designed to satisfy the requirements of the MCA
Workboat code categories 4,5 and 6.
It weighs approximately 1,600kg and features navigational equipment, full fendering, side
bench seating and clear load deck.
Powered by a Ford FSDTI 140 hp diesel engine driving a Castoldi 238 water jet, the unladen
craft has achieved a speed of 30 knots during trials.

Dean & Dyball
A complete new superstructure was manufactured and installed on board the MV 'Doreen Dorward'.
This two-tier structure was built in the workshops alongside the berth and then craned on board for the final fitting.
