DEAN & DYBALL:
New lock gates were required for a dry dock in Chatham, Kent. The gates were manufactured in our workshops and then transported to Chatham for installation by our engineers.
DEAN & DYBALL - H.M.P. WEARE:
The British Government ordered the conversion of a barge to be used as prison accommodation. When the vessel arrived in Portland Port, M.P.I. Services were awarded major subcontracts for the manufacture and fitting of gangways, walkways and services connecting the vessel to shore. Work was carried out over a one year period.
MOWLEMS PLC:
M.P.I. Services has been awarded numerous contracts over a ten year period to remove, transport and reinstate site accommodation blocks. On several sites the company has also provided a prompt call-out service for the repair or installation of plant and equipment.
WEYMOUTH & PORTLAND BOROUGH COUNCIL:
Several contracts including :-
( a ) Major repairs to quayside walls.
( b ) Construction and installation of a landing platform using Weymouth's ferry terminal.
( c ) Linkspan repairs and maintenance.
MARKHAM ENGINEERING:
In Bordeaux, South West France, GTM were building a new water culvert to tunnel under the main railway station for plant and equipment. Markham Engineering of Chesterfield won the contract to build and install a 9 metre Diametre EPB tunneling machine. M.P.I. Services supplied a team of engineers to install the machine.
Various contracts have been carried out by Manor Marine for installation, repairs to plant and equipment and general maintenance.
