Land and Water 8m multi-purpose Tug.

Manor Marine have just delivered an 8m multi-purpose Tug for Land & Water.

The hull form of the Tug is of a double chine mono hull design, with a Hydro Armor propulsion system.

The tug was designed with a silenced powerpack/engine for easy maintenance and repair.

The tug can be used in multiple configurations, including debris removal using its forward facing hydraulic arm attachment and for the Push/Pulling of barges.

Manor Marine have just finished builds of the 19m Pollcat Daphnia and the 15.5m Tharys for Desmi Ro-Clean.

Both Pollcats will be deployed to South America.

The Pollcats hull form is an asymmetric catamaran with a ZRV, (Zero Relative Velocity) mop system suspended between the hulls.

The Polypropylene mops rotate to suit the forward speed of the vessel, effectively 'sitting' in the water soaking up the oil spill.

The Pollcat also has a 5 Tonne-Metre deck crane, boom deployment reel for containment of an oil spill and onboard storage for around 40 Tonnes of recovered oil.
